***Offers that don’t reflect a reasonable secondary market value or higher will not be considered. If you are uncertain about the secondary market value of any tile, visit Sidclopedia. The owner of this site has put many hours into this very useful resource for Sid Dickens Memory Block Collectors. However, while we consider the current selling trend on eBay and through private sales, neither dictate the final cost of a tile.
Please send offers to sidsavers@msn.com
We’ve had a few requests from collectors wanting to purchase Sid Savers directly from us. When we made the commitment to donate all proceeds to Children’s Hunger Fund we decided at that time to sell exclusively to retailers. Here are our reasons why:
*Retailers can pack and ship them faster and for less money than we can. We’re learning that this step is very time consuming. =)
*For us to accept payment for Sid Savers could raise question as to what we are doing with the money. We desire to be held above reproach. We do not want there to be even a hint of personal gain on our part.
Thank you for understanding our position.
Many have asked us why we are selling our collection. Those who know us, personally and through the forums, know very well that we have taken great pleasure in these beautiful pieces of art. We never thought we would part with one tile, much less all of them. Visitors in our home are always intrigued and curious about the individual tiles and the collective groupings. Our collection has filled almost every room of our home with warmth, elegance and beauty.
We think Mr. Dickens is a genius! We love his work and his creativity!! Obviously you do also and that’s why you’re here. Although we have never had the honor of meeting him, we have talked to many collectors and retailers that have. They all agree that he is gracious, humble and genuinely cares for others.
Most people know that all of our proceeds go to Children’s Hunger Fund. The more we have exposed ourselves to the needs of children, the more we are compelled to do. So, this brings me to the million dollar question. Why are we selling our collection??
Our hope is that the sale of our collection will help fund the adoption of one child living in an orphanage. That’s it in a nutshell.

Pure Golds and Scribes

Add splashes of color to accent your black and white Memory Blocks.

Black and White blocks stand out against a creamy caramel wall.
Our website www.sidsavers.com is up and running again. We still have a lot of changes to make and our friend is planning on “pumping it up” to give it a professional feel. Any of you that know us, know that Ron and I are anything but professional.
Please note that we have a new retailer in Oregon to add to our list.

Other exciting news is that those of us in Southern California were able to “test” our Sid Savers out when we experienced at 5.4 magnitude earthquake. We’re happy to report that the only casualties that we know of were two Memory Blocks on easels. Those hanging up on Sid Savers managed to stay safely secured to the wall. Yay!! Of course, those unfortunate souls that are still using ooks, screws and nails may not be as jubilant as the Sid Savers users. To those I offer my sincere condolences and strongly advise contacting one of the Sid Savers retailers.
Sincerely,
Teri

Safe and Sound on Sid Savers.
