We’ve had a few requests from collectors wanting to purchase Sid Savers directly from us. When we made the commitment to donate all proceeds to Children’s Hunger Fund we decided at that time to sell exclusively to retailers.  Here are our reasons why:

*Retailers have already written out a check to Children’s Hunger Fund for their purchase, and we are grateful to them for supporting such a worthy cause! The more Sid Savers the retailers sell, the more money Children’s Hunger Fund gets!

*Retailers can pack  and ship them faster and for less money than we can. We’re learning that this step is very time consuming. =)

*For us to accept payment for Sid Savers could raise question as to what we are doing with the money. We desire to be held above reproach.  We do not want there to be even a hint of  personal gain on our part.

Thank you for understanding our position.

Many have asked us why we are selling our collection. Those who know us, personally and through the forums, know very well that we have taken great pleasure in these beautiful pieces of art. We never thought we would part with one tile, much less all of them. Visitors in our home are always intrigued and curious about the individual tiles and the collective groupings.  Our collection has filled almost every room of our home with warmth, elegance and beauty.

We think Mr. Dickens is a genius!  We love his work and his creativity!! Obviously you do also and that’s why you’re here.  Although we have never had the honor of meeting him, we have talked to many collectors and retailers that have. They all agree that he is gracious, humble and genuinely cares for others.

Most people know that all of our proceeds go to Children’s Hunger Fund.  The more we have exposed ourselves to the needs of children, the more we are compelled to do. So, this brings me to the million dollar question. Why are we selling our collection??

Our hope is that the sale of our collection will help fund the adoption of one child living in an orphanage.  That’s it in a nutshell.
